So I'm thinking.. how practical would it be to mod in a headphone jack? I have a few things to work with:
- a working original GBA here which can be sacrificed for parts
- a soldering iron with accessories
- the willingness to buy a headphone adapter cable, if I can mod it inside the case somehow
- an unhealthy predilection for modifying perfectly good electronics
so I'm in need of some brainstorming: how could I go about this? Having not dismantled my day-old SP (yet), any insights into what I'd be dealing with would be appreciated. What would be involved, and am I out of my mind for wanting to do this? (on second thought, don't answer that last one)
Should I actually go through with this, many pictures will be taken, and progress reports will be posted. But to make the reports more than one step ('Step One: I broke something trying to get the cover off. It doesn't work anymore.') I'd like some input, if you guys are willing.
